First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a powered toothbrush removes more dental plaque than a manual one in people wearing clear aligners. Fourteen adults with aligners brushed with either type, and plaque levels were measured before and after. The goal was to see which brush keeps teeth cleaner around the attachments used in aligner therapy.
