Blood clot cells may signal brain aneurysm danger

NCT ID NCT03408379

First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at whether blood platelets (cells that help blood clot) are more active in people whose brain aneurysm has burst compared to those with an unruptured aneurysm. Researchers will compare 230 patients to see if platelet activity can help predict rupture risk. The goal is to improve how doctors assess danger from brain aneurysms.
