NCT ID NCT06499012
First seen Nov 25, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tested whether a daily plant protein supplement (Nutrilite All-Plant Protein Booster) could improve muscle function and joint pain in people aged 50–70 with mild to moderate sarcopenia (muscle loss) and osteoarthritis (joint wear). Over 12 weeks, 139 participants took either the protein supplement or a placebo. Researchers measured changes in physical performance (like walking speed and balance) and arthritis symptoms (pain, stiffness, and daily function). The goal was to see if the supplement could help maintain strength and ease discomfort without medication.
