First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether two plant-based supplements can help manage blood sugar in people with pre-diabetes who are overweight. Over 12 weeks, 87 participants will take either a polyphenol-rich plant extract, that same extract plus white kidney bean and minerals, or a placebo. The goal is to see if these supplements improve long-term blood sugar control and post-meal glucose levels.
