Summary
This study looked at how different levels of processing in plant-based protein foods (like veggie burgers or protein powders) affect the bacteria in your gut and your body's metabolism. 38 healthy adults ate these foods, and researchers measured changes in gut microbes, blood markers, and inflammation. The goal was to understand if highly processed plant proteins are as good for you as less processed ones.
