Summary
This study explores whether placebo suggestions that match a person's motivational style (how they approach goals) can change their experience of pain. Sixty healthy adults will receive heat pulses and rate their pain after receiving suggestions tailored to their style. The goal is to understand how personalizing suggestions might improve public health interventions.
