First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests a temporary device, the 'Pivot Bridge,' in 20 adults with severe functional tricuspid regurgitation (a leaky heart valve). Participants first receive standard medication for up to a week, then the device is implanted for about a week to see if it improves the leak and symptoms. The goal is to check if the device is safe and works better than medication alone.
