Pistachio power: daily snack may fight inflammation and boost muscle
NCT ID NCT06342024
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether eating 1.5 ounces of pistachios every day for six months can lower inflammation and increase lean body mass in active adults aged 40 to 60. Participants will be randomly assigned to eat pistachios or avoid them while keeping their usual diet and exercise. Researchers will measure blood markers of inflammation and muscle health, as well as body composition.
