New chemo spray shows promise for Hard-to-Treat abdominal cancers

Summary

This study tests a new method called PIPAC, which sprays chemotherapy directly into the abdomen as a fine mist. It is for people with stomach, pancreas, or colorectal cancer that has spread to the lining of the abdomen. The goal is to see if this approach can control the cancer and improve quality of life. About 60 adults will receive three treatments along with standard chemotherapy.
