New ALS drug trial hopes to slow disease progression

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new drug called VTx-002 in 12 people with ALS. The main goal is to see if the treatment is safe and tolerable at two different doses. Researchers will also check if it can slow down the disease, but this is a very early step and not a cure.
