First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looks at people with a severe type of ankle fracture called a pilon fracture. Doctors will use a very small camera (nano-arthroscopy) during an early surgery to check for hidden damage to the ankle joint. The goal is to learn how often this hidden damage happens and whether seeing it changes the best way to fix the fracture. About 25 adults will take part.
