Pilates machines show promise for aging backs

Summary
This small study tested a 12-week machine-based Pilates program in 16 active older adults (ages 55-75) with moderate low back pain. Participants did two sessions per week. The goal was to see if this approach could improve quality of life and reduce pain. Results may help design better exercise programs for seniors.
