Pilates and classes may ease depression and back pain in pregnancy

Summary

This study looked at whether adding supervised Clinical Pilates exercise and prenatal education to standard care helps first-time pregnant women feel less depressed and have less back pain. 85 women took part, with some doing the extra program and others receiving only routine care. The results aim to show if this combination can improve mood and physical comfort during pregnancy.
