Can a vitamin boost supercharge your back pain therapy?
NCT ID NCT07439874
Summary
This study tested whether adding vitamin D supplements to standard physical therapy works better for chronic low back pain than physical therapy alone. Researchers followed 200 people in Saudi Arabia, including 100 with back pain and 100 healthy individuals for comparison. They measured pain levels, disability, and markers of inflammation over six weeks to see if the combination treatment provided more relief.
