Can a vitamin boost supercharge your back pain treatment?
NCT ID NCT07439874
Summary
This study tested whether adding vitamin D supplements to standard physical therapy works better than physical therapy alone for reducing chronic low back pain. Researchers in Saudi Arabia enrolled 200 people—100 with back pain and 100 healthy individuals for comparison. They measured pain levels, disability, and a blood marker of inflammation before and after a 6-week treatment period to see which approach provided more relief.
