Could MRI scans predict who benefits from back pain therapy?

NCT ID NCT04134910

Summary

This study aimed to learn how physical therapy affects the health of spinal discs in people with chronic back pain. Researchers planned to use special MRI scans to measure changes in disc nutrition and health before and after a 6-week physical therapy program. The goal was to see if these scans could help predict which patients would get better with physical therapy.
