Summary
This study tested a program where doctors refer inactive people with chronic conditions like diabetes or heart disease to exercise specialists. 168 adults in Germany took part, with some getting extra support from exercise experts and others just receiving advice. The goal was to see if the referral program helped people become more active and improve their health over 12 to 24 weeks.
