NCT ID NCT02542683

First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at how physical activity affects thinking and learning in children born with heart problems. Researchers will compare these children to others having different surgeries or healthy siblings. They will also test if a 6- or 12-month exercise program can improve memory, attention, and behavior after heart surgery. The goal is to understand if staying active helps kids' brains develop better.
