Stroke recovery goes High-Tech: VR app tested for home rehab

Summary

This study tests a smartphone app that uses virtual and augmented reality games to help people who had a stroke improve arm movement and thinking skills at home. Seventy adults who are at least three months past their stroke will use the app for six weeks or receive standard care. The goal is to see if the app works better than usual therapy for recovery.
