Light therapy shows promise for Parkinson's symptoms in small trial

Summary

This study tests whether shining special light on the whole body (photobiomodulation) can help with movement and thinking problems in people with Parkinson's disease. Fifteen adults with mild to moderate Parkinson's will receive about 30 sessions over 10 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in motor skills, balance, and memory to see if the therapy is safe and helpful.
