Summary
This study tests whether a drug called ferric citrate can lower a key protein linked to kidney disease progression in children aged 6-18 with moderate chronic kidney disease. About 160 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo for 12 months. The goal is to see if the drug safely reduces FGF23 levels and improves iron levels without serious side effects.
