Summary

This study tests if a phone-based therapy called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) can help young adults aged 18-35 who drink heavily to quit or reduce alcohol use. Participants will receive weekly phone sessions for 6 weeks and track their drinking. The study compares ACT to a supportive phone program to see which works better.
