Summary
This study looked at how a wound dressing called Phoenix Wound Matrix changes the types of bacteria and fungi in hard-to-heal diabetic foot ulcers. Eleven adults with diabetes took part. Researchers collected samples before and after using the dressing to see how the wound's germs and healing markers changed over time.
