New tool helps pharmacists decide when antibiotics are needed for bladder infections

Summary
This study tests whether a shared decision-making tool can help pharmacists and patients better understand when antibiotics are truly needed for uncomplicated cystitis (bladder infection). About 506 women with symptoms will be enrolled. The goal is to reduce unnecessary antibiotic use while still effectively treating those who need them.
