First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a person's genetic information can help doctors choose the most effective antidepressant for major depression. About 570 adults in Morocco will be randomly assigned to either standard care or care guided by a genetic test. The goal is to see if genetic guidance leads to higher remission rates and fewer side effects over 12 weeks.
