Can a pharmacist's high-tech monitor tame diabetes?
NCT ID NCT06572306
First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This pilot study tests whether having a pharmacist guide continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) improves blood sugar control and healthy behaviors in 40 adults with type 2 diabetes. Participants use a CGM device and receive pharmacist support, while their results are compared to a similar group that only used standard finger-stick testing. The study aims to see if the CGM approach leads to better A1c levels and more time in a healthy blood sugar range.
