New team approach aims to boost blood pressure pill taking

Summary

This study tests a team of pharmacists and community health workers who work together to help African-American and Latino adults with high blood pressure take their medications as prescribed. The goal is to improve medication adherence and lower blood pressure. Participants must be 18 or older, take at least 5 chronic medications, and have low adherence to blood pressure drugs.
