First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study is a registry that will track the safety and success of a procedure called pulsed field ablation (PFA) for treating atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) in 275 patients who are racial or ethnic minorities. The procedure uses FDA-approved catheters to correct the heart rhythm. Researchers will monitor patients for up to one year to see if the treatment is safe and keeps the heart in normal rhythm without needing repeat procedures.
