New PET tracer could spot lung cancer more clearly

Summary

This study tests a new radioactive imaging agent called [18F]-C-SNAT4 to see how it spreads in the body and whether it can help spot lung cancer on PET scans. It includes 5 healthy volunteers and 15 people with lung cancer. The goal is to check safety, radiation exposure, and whether the tracer highlights tumors differently from healthy tissue.
