New scan method could better predict breast cancer treatment success
NCT ID NCT07173868
Summary
This study aims to determine whether PET-CT scans are better than standard imaging at predicting how well first-line treatments work for advanced breast cancer. Researchers will follow 100 patients with metastatic or locally advanced breast cancer, comparing scan results at multiple time points during treatment. The goal is to see which imaging method more accurately forecasts whether the cancer will progress, helping doctors make better treatment decisions.
