NCT ID NCT06430554

First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at how adjusting breathing machine settings based on individual lung scans can improve oxygen delivery in patients with moderate-to-severe acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Researchers will use a special imaging technique to measure how well air and blood flow match in the lungs. The goal is to find the best ventilator settings for each patient, but this is an observational study, not a treatment trial.
