Summary

This study tested whether adjusting the duration of a drug called caplacizumab based on blood test results could effectively treat acquired thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (aTTP), a rare and serious blood clotting disorder. The trial involved 58 adults with aTTP and monitored their response to personalized treatment timing. The study was terminated early and aimed to see if this approach could control the disease while potentially reducing treatment duration.
