Brain scans guide new tinnitus treatment trial

NCT ID NCT07267455

Summary

This study is testing whether a personalized form of brain stimulation works better than the standard method to reduce the symptoms of chronic tinnitus. Researchers will use MRI brain scans to find a unique target for each participant before delivering a non-invasive magnetic stimulation treatment over five days. The goal is to see if this tailored approach is more effective and safe for easing the distress, anxiety, and sleep problems linked to long-term tinnitus.
