New combo therapy offers hope for hard-to-treat myeloma patients

This study tests a personalized approach using the drug selinexor combined with other medications for people whose multiple myeloma has returned or stopped responding to treatment. 18 adults with active disease after at least one prior therapy will receive one of three drug combinations chosen by their doctor. The goal is to see how well these combinations shrink or control the cancer, while also checking for minimal residual disease and progression-free survival.
