First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to treat depression that hasn't improved with standard treatments. It uses a personalized brain scan to guide high-dose magnetic pulses to specific areas. Sixty adults aged 18-65 will receive either real or fake (sham) treatment to see if it safely reduces depression symptoms. The goal is to find a better option for people with treatment-resistant depression.
