Smart collar aims to Fine-Tune thyroid radiation doses
NCT ID NCT03517579
Summary
This study is testing a special wearable collar that measures radiation around the neck. It aims to gather more detailed information about how patients with thyroid cancer or Graves' disease absorb radioactive iodine treatment. The goal is to see if this continuous monitoring can help doctors plan more precise, personalized treatment doses in the future, potentially improving outcomes and reducing side effects. The study involves 10 participants and will compare the collar's measurements to standard imaging methods.
