Study tests lower radiation doses to reduce side effects in throat cancer treatment

Summary
This study is testing whether a personalized approach using a special PET scan to select patients for lower radiation doses works as well as standard radiation for HPV-positive throat cancer. Researchers want to see if this approach causes fewer side effects while maintaining survival rates. The trial will also measure how both treatment approaches affect patients' quality of life through questionnaires.
