Summary
This study tested a short questionnaire designed to quickly identify the palliative care needs of people newly diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). Researchers gave the questionnaire to 30 patients to see if it could accurately match them to the right level of support, from basic nursing care to more intensive home-based services. The goal was to create a tool that helps get patients the care they need sooner, especially those who have trouble traveling to a hospital.
