Simple questions aim to get IPF patients faster, better care at home
NCT ID NCT06714188
Summary
This study tested a short questionnaire designed to quickly identify the palliative care needs of people newly diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). Researchers gave the questionnaire to 30 patients to see if it could accurately match them to the right level of care support, from simple check-ins to more intensive home-based services. The goal is to help patients get the care they need sooner, especially if they have trouble traveling to a hospital.
