NCT ID NCT03525002
Summary
This study tested if a drug called bromocriptine helps people with obesity lose weight differently depending on their specific genetic code. 120 adults with obesity were randomly given either the drug or a placebo for 18 weeks. The main goal was to see if people with a certain genetic variant lost more weight on the drug than others.
