Computer model aims to Fine-Tune Kids' transplant meds
NCT ID NCT06095895
Summary
This study tested a computer-based method to personalize the doses of two key anti-rejection medications (tacrolimus and mycophenolic acid) for children who have received a kidney transplant. The goal was to see if using a model to predict drug levels in the blood could help doctors adjust doses more precisely for each child. Researchers followed 29 young patients to check if the model's predictions matched their actual future drug levels, aiming to improve long-term medication management.
