First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether adjusting chemotherapy doses based on a patient's genetics can improve outcomes for people with advanced stomach or esophageal cancer that has spread to nearby tissues or lymph nodes. About 36 participants will receive a chemotherapy regimen called mFOLFIRINOX before and after surgery. The main goal is to see if this approach helps surgeons completely remove the tumor (called R0 resection).
