New combo therapy before surgery shows promise for esophageal cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether adding two immunotherapy drugs (atezolizumab and tiragolumab) to standard chemotherapy before surgery can help control esophageal or gastroesophageal cancer. About 43 adults with stage II or III cancer will receive the drug combination, then undergo surgery. The main goal is to see if the cancer disappears completely after treatment.
