NCT ID NCT07523841
First seen Apr 17, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding omega-3 fatty acids and low-dose aspirin to standard deep-cleaning gum treatment helps people with severe periodontitis. About 120 adults will be split into three groups: standard cleaning alone, cleaning plus omega-3, or cleaning plus omega-3 and aspirin. Researchers will measure gum pocket depth, bleeding, and blood markers of inflammation to see which approach works best.
