Summary
This study looks at how certain immune cells called B cells contribute to gum disease (periodontitis). Researchers will analyze blood and gum tissue from 60 adults who need gum surgery to see which B cell types are linked to more severe disease. The goal is to better understand the disease process and find ways to personalize diagnosis and treatment.
