Gum gel shows promise in small study

Summary
This study looked at whether a special gel could help treat gum disease. Twelve adults with moderate gum disease received standard deep cleaning plus the gel. They also used the gel and a special toothpaste at home. After 8 weeks, their gum health improved, with less bleeding and shallower pockets.
