First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether a collagen matrix can help regrow bone and gum tissue damaged by severe gum disease, compared to a standard bone-graft material. About 80 adults with deep gum pockets will receive one of the two treatments during surgery. The goal is to see which material leads to better healing and attachment of the gums to the teeth.
