Blood flow fingerprint may predict neck pain treatment success

NCT ID NCT05723380

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looked at 92 people with chronic neck pain to see if a measure of blood flow in the fingers (called perfusion index) could predict how well a nerve block treatment would work. Researchers measured pain levels and disability before and after the procedure. The goal was to find a simple way to identify who will benefit most from this type of pain block.
