New peptide cream promises healthier, more hydrated skin

NCT ID NCT07548424

First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests whether a face cream with a peptide called Acetyl Hexapeptide-37 can improve skin hydration and strengthen the skin barrier better than a placebo cream. Thirty healthy adults will apply the active cream to one side of their face and a placebo to the other side daily for 4 weeks. Researchers will measure skin moisture, water loss, and redness at weekly visits to see if the peptide cream makes a difference.
