First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tested a series of seven injections of a drug called PepCan in people whose head and neck cancer was in remission. The goal was to see if it could safely lower the risk of the cancer returning. Seventeen adults who had finished their main cancer treatment within the last 120 days took part. Researchers tracked side effects and compared recurrence rates between those who got PepCan and those who got a placebo.
